I don't think Atlanta has faced this much morning turmoil in ages. And technically, there's a fifth new morning show. WGKA-AM, which has relied on syndicated programming on weekdays since its inception, will debut its first local early early morning show which starts at 4:30 a.m. and runs through 6 a.m. starring Joel Aarom. The 27 year old has done their fun weekend "Hub" talk show, with a rotating crew of opinion makers. Bill Bennett will continue from 6 to 9 a.m. Joel's show starts Monday January 28. ABOVE: I took this shot of Joel last year for a story about the Hub Show. "Joel hits the target demographics (males 25-54)," said Jeff Carter, WGKA program director. "We want to give him a daily live program and see what happens." And if there's breaking news, Joel can do cut-ins from 6 to 9 a.m.

Super Tuesday Won't Decide Nominations
Barack Obama. There will be nearly 1,700 Democratic delegates at stake on Feb. 5, enough to put a candidate well on his or her way to the 2,025 needed to secure the nomination. But even if somehow either Clinton or Obama won every one of those delegates, it wouldn't be enough. And with two strong candidates, the delegates could be divided fairly evenly because the Democrats award their delegates proportionally _ not winner-take- all. The biggest prizes among the Democratic states are California (370 delegates), New York (232) and Illinois (153). All three states award Democratic delegates proportionally, with most delegates awarded according to the popular vote in individual congressional districts, and the rest based on the statewide vote. The wild card for the Democrats involves the superdelegates, nearly 800 elected officials and members of the Democratic National Committee.

Data for 2007 is not yet available. Layh said his office has seen a rise in people seeking psychological services. "We added two new psychologists to the staff last year," he said. Dr. James Perry, CEO of the Clark County Mental Health, said his organization hasn't noticed an increase in patients in the past year. But he agreed that hard times can have an effect on a person's mental well-being. "We see it when the economy is poor, jobs are a problem," he said.
Lawsuit by city targets lender
District Court, alleges that California-based Wells Fargo Bank sold higher-interest subprime mortgages to blacks more frequently than to whites and that the practice, known as reverse redlining, violates federal housing law.
Lenders are increasingly coming under legal attack from borrowers and investors stung by the subprime mortgage crisis, but Baltimore's lawsuit could be the first in the nation in which a city is attempting to recapture costs associated with foreclosed homes that wind up vacant.
